Trade Connectors

Overview

Trade Connectors is a tool responsible for communication with an exchange. On this page, you can view a list of available trade connectors. Use it to add, remove, and modify trade connector instances.

In case a trade connector has an instance(s) created for it, it is displayed in brackets next to the data connector name:

  • COINBASE (2) - there are two connector instances created for the COINBASE exchange.

Each created instance can have own values in parameters.

Available Actions

  • Create: in the trade connector parameters window, click Create to add a trade connector instance.
  • Copy: click to create a duplicate of an existing instance.
  • Save: click to save changes in the trade connector instance.
  • Delete: click to remove a trade connector instance.

Trade Connector Parameters

  1. Click any trade connector to display the window with its parameters.
  2. Edit parameters and click Save to apply changes.
tip

Parameters may vary for different trade connectors.

Multiple IP

Some trade connectors (e.g. BINANCE, BINANCEFUT, BINANCEDLV) allow using several IP addresses, and, in addition, Proxy Servers. In this case, addresses are used in a round-robin way.

  1. Add several addressed one by one.
  2. Save trade connector configuration.
  3. Restart services to apply changes.
Additional Information

Once secondary IPs are configured for EC2 instance they should be exposed in operating system:

ip addr add dev ens5 10.0.1.203/24

Trade Connector Fees

You can specify custom fees for each trade connector in Fee Schedule. Use this option in case a specific trade venue does not supply fees with the data stream or custom (personal) fee rates apply.

Add Trade Connector Instance

You can create multiple instances of each available trade connector. Each created instance can have own values in parameters.

  1. Click any trade connector.
  2. In the parameters window, edit parameters (if necessary) and click Create. The name of the connector must be unique! It can consist of any capital Latin letters, numbers, and underscores. Its length must be between 0 and 10 symbols.
  3. New trade connector instance appears in the list under the parent trade connector.
  4. You get redirected to the newly-created connector to view and edit parameters.

Copy Instance

You can use a Copy button to duplicate an existing instance of a connector:

  1. Select an existing instance of any connector and click Copy.
  2. You get redirected to the parent connector form where some of the parameters are already pre-populated.
  3. Specify values for the remaining parameters and click Create to create a new instance of the connector.
  4. New instance of the connector appears in the list under the parent connector.
  5. You get redirected to the newly-created connector instance to view and edit parameters.
