Data Connectors
Overview
Data Connectors are responsible for receiving market data from external venues. A list of available market data connectors is displayed in this section. Here you can add, remove and modify instances of data connectors. When a data connector has an instance created for it, it is displayed in brackets next to the name of the data connector:
- COINBASE (2) - there are two connector instances created for the COINBASE exchange.
Available Actions
Click any data connector instance to display status and actions.
- Start/Stop: click Start/Stop to start/stop a data connector.
- Create: in the data connector parameters window, click Create to add a data connector instance.
- Copy: click to create a duplicate of an existing instance.
- Save: click to save changes in the data connector instance.
- Delete: click to remove a specific data connector instance.
Data Connector Parameters
- Click any data connector to display a window with parameters.
- Edit any data connector parameter and click Save to apply changes.
Data Connector Status
Click any data connector to display all instances created for this data connector.
Status and Start/Stop actions are displayed for each data connector instance.
Once created, data connector instances get status ACTIVE automatically.
- Click Stop to halt the data connector instance - status changes to NOT_ACTIVE.
- Click Start to launch the data connector instance - status changes to ACTIVE.
Add Data Connector Instance
You can create multiple instances for each available data connector. Each created instance can have own values in parameters.
- Click any data connector.
- In the parameters window, edit parameters (if necessary) and click Create. The name of the connector must be unique! It can consist of any capital Latin letters, numbers, and underscores. Its length must be between 0 and 10 symbols.
- New instance of the connector appears in the list under the parent connector.
- You get redirected to the newly-created connector instance to view and edit parameters.
Copy Instance
You can use a Copy button to duplicate an existing instance of a connector:
- Select an existing instance of any connector and click Copy.
- You get redirected to the parent connector form where some of the parameters are already pre-populated.
- Specify values for the remaining parameters and click Create to create a new instance of the connector.
- New instance of the connector appears in the list under the parent connector.
- You get redirected to the newly-created connector instance to view and edit parameters.
